The Delta Awards

Last night the prestigious Delta Awards for industrial design were presented by organizers ADI-FAD, in the Sala Teatre at the CCCB.
 
The Delta d’Or was awarded to Orbea Grow's children's bicycle designed by Álex Fernández. The bicycle was created to adjust to children's growth phases, while keeping ergonomics in mind. 
 
The Delta de Plata was awarded to the 3×3 table 3 Patas, the Balloon lamp by Crous & Calogero, the  BlancoWhite shelf with light by Antoni Arola, the Lola lamp by Lagranja, the socket system by Mainline Design Team, the hanger for collectives MILÚ by Josep Bosch Espelta (Infrastructure Services at UPC) and the beaconby Pilede Nahtrang design. 
 
Awards for student designs included, the Medalla d'Or for Marion Frei, from the Escola Elisava, who designedVinculum, a system that aids the blind to read the contents of canned good using a strip attached to the product. 
 
As you know, all winners will become part of the Museu de les Arts Decoratives's collection in order to guarantee their preservation.
