The FAD Awards for Architecture and Interior Design 2011.

The FAD awards for architecture and interior design were awarded last night, the 14th of July at the 53rd edition of the ceremonly.  The event took place at the plaça dels Angels within the framework of the FADfest festival. 
 
The Honourable Mr. Lluís Recoder, Minister of Territory and Sustainability, Mr.  Antoni Vives, Third Deputy Mayor of Urban Planning, Infrastructure, Housing,  Environment and TIC, and Mr. Carles Sala, Secretary of Housing at the Generalitat, Benedetta Tagliabue, president of the FAD Awards jury, Manuel Gausa, president of the jury of Thought and Critique, and Miquel Espinet, president of the FAD, presided over the event that was hosted by Silbia Farriol, president of Arquinfad and Pere Serra, vice-president of the Arquinfad board of directors.
 
Various awards were presented in two categories, the FAD Jury Awards and the Opinion Awards, as well as, an special award from Thought and Critique.
