Fortuny, interdisciplinary design
Mariano Fortuny y Madrazo was born into a family of artists, in Granada, 1846. His life path passed through many locations: Paris, Venice, London, Egypt.... His great creativity took him down different paths: design of objects, textiles and clothing, painting, printmaking, photography and scenography.
On the occasion of the documentary Fortuny and His Wonderful Lamp by director Claudio Zulian, that was presented this February at DHUB, we offer you an assortment of information about this multi-faceted man.
